2017 Workshop: First Aid (Cancelled)

Not just for trip leaders, this workshop will cover first response techniques and strategies for the most common problems we may see on field trips.  We’ll discuss basic responses and treatments for a range of lesser common and more serious medical issues, from minor cuts and sprains, heat stress and dehydration, to basic CPR and resuscitation, as well as a few bureaucratic, administrative, and legal things to keep in mind.
