Range Creek Field Trip

When:  July 16 & 17, 2022, 6:45 AM, MDT
Where: Range Creek in the Book Cliffs of Emery County

Meeting place: July 16, 6:45 AM, MDT, 450 South Fairgrounds Way, Price, UT

Trip Leaders: Wanda Gayle and Howard Berkes

Description: Spend two days on a Carbon County Recreation field trip to the Range Creek Wildlife Management Area. Meet in Price, UT, on July 16 and park your vehicle at the recreation center, then take a county van to the site. Carbon County provides lunch and dinner the first day; breakfast and lunch the second day. Participants must camp overnight. The campsite has portable toilets and fire rings but no other improvements and no water. Carbon County provides water in coolers and jugs. Walking to most sites is about 300 feet with little elevation gain. Return to Price via van on July 17 about 5 PM.

Group limit: 20

Cost: $200 per person
