Learn the proper way to record a BLM rock art site so it will become part of the permanent and official record in the Utah State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) database. We’ll have a brief orientation in the morning at the Museum, and then we will be working outside the majority of the day on sites in the Green River area. We will work in teams to complete every section of a site report multiple times so that by the end of the day you will feel comfortable with the entire process. Our completed site forms will be submitted as the final site record to the Bureau of Land Management and SHPO.
