b. Financial Information:

  • We collect records of financial transactions such as, membership registration and renewal, event registration, donations, and purchases.
  • URARA uses a third-party financial service to conduct credit card transactions. URARA does not collect or store member credit card information. For third-party credit card policies, please see Section 4. Third Party Service Providers.

c. Other Information:

  • We also collect membership usage information such as the dates that you joined, renewed, last logged in and last updated your profile, and specific areas of interest that you have indicated.

2. How We Use Your Information:

  • We use your personal information to deliver information such as newsletters, event notifications, and other membership-related notices
  • We use your personal information to process financial transactions.
  • We may use your personal information to develop information regarding our membership.
  • We may use your personal information to contact you with information specific to the interests that you have indicated.

3. Sharing Your Information:

  • Your contact information may be made available to other members in the Members Roster.
  • Your contact information and other records not included in the Members Roster may be made available to member volunteers who have been given administrative access to the URARA website.
  • We may provide your contact information to member volunteers for the purpose of organizing events.
  • URARA never shares your contact information with third parties unrelated to conducting membership activities.

4. Third-Party Service Providers:

a. Financial Services:

  • URARA uses a third-party financial services provider, Affinipay, to conduct credit card transactions. Affinipay collects and retains credit card transaction records. Information that Affinipay shares with URARA includes cardholder name, transaction date, amount, and your card type and last four digits. This information is accessible only to those URARA member volunteers who have been granted access permission by the URARA Board of Directors.

b. Website Services:

c. Other Third-Party Service Providers:

  • URARA may occasionally use a third-party service provider to provide services (such as surveys) to members. Such services will be subject to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service provider.

5. Legal Compliance:

  •  We may disclose your information when required by law.

6. Your Choices:

a. Opt-Out:

  • You can opt-out of receiving certain communications and may limit the personal information that you share with other non-administrative members by logging into your online account and editing the settings in your member profile.

b. Access and Update:

  • You have the right to access and update your personal information. If you have a membership account with us, you can log in to make changes. Otherwise, you can contact us for assistance.

7. Security:

  • We take appropriate measures to safeguard your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy:

  • Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to remove such information.
