Visiting Mojave Preserve, CA - Indian Well, Camp Rock Spring, Counsel Rocks, Mary's Cave.

THURS Mar 28 

Meeting at Hole-in-the-Wall Campground, Mojave Preserve, CA 9 AM. 

Visiting Black Wash/Aikens Arch. Sloan Canyon, NOTE - Finishing the day near Las Vegas.

Camping (and fenced-in Inscription Rock) is available at Davis Camp, AZ, near Laughlin. Otherwise, Casino Hotels in Laughlin. In order to save a few miles, some of us might camp Weds night at Hole-in-the-Wall Campground, Mojave Preserve (right on our route).

Carpooling, if possible. Most of the roads are easy 2wd. We will carpool the last 4 miles to Keyhole Canyon, the last 3 miles to Indian Well, and 6 miles to Black Wash. Otherwise, car caravan on good graded roads. Mostly drive-up sites. All walking is generally easy, with our longest walk about 0.75 mile RT.

Be sure to top off your gas tanks in AZ beforehand!! Google Maps is confused, all of our roads are open. It can be cold and windy anytime in the Mojave Preserve. Don't be shy, email for any details.
